Stage 2 is where drifting truly comes alive. Designed for those who want to move beyond single-corner drifts and start linking transitions or for anyone who’s completed Stage 1 or already knows the basics this session pushes your control, rhythm, and precision to the next level.

You’ll take the wheel of a custom-built drift car and learn how to link a figure-eight layout, manage angle and throttle, and hit clipping points with consistency. With your instructor beside you, you’ll refine technique, smooth out mistakes, and develop the flow needed to drive like a competition-level drifter.

Between lessons, enjoy pro ride-alongs and live drifting from trackside, a full immersion in the world of drifting.

We run once or twice per month, with new dates released monthly and always at least 4 weeks in advance. Booking your slot here locks in your place for the next available drift day.

Stage 2 Drift Experience

Everything you need to progress beyond single-corner drifting. The Stage 2 Drift Experience builds on your foundation with advanced control, transitions, and figure-eight layout driving — a full day of learning, adrenaline, and flow from start to finish.

1 Lesson (Stage 2)
Step deeper into drifting. You’ll learn how to link a figure-eight layout, manage transitions, and control speed, throttle, and angle with precision — all from the driver’s seat of a custom-built drift car.

2-Hour Driving Session
Plenty of seat time in our drift-prepared BMW, with coaching focused on developing rhythm and flow. You’ll get two driving sessions within your 2-hour slot (around 30 minutes total seat time) with time between runs for analysis and feedback.

Instructor Demos & Ride-Alongs
Ride shotgun for a demonstration lap with your instructor to see transitions, clipping points, and smooth angle control in action before replicating it yourself.

Instructor-Level Coaching
One-to-one coaching from experienced competition drivers. Each session is tailored to your pace, ensuring you progress naturally while refining your precision and control.

Two Driving Stints
Your seat time is split to allow immediate feedback and correction. Apply instructor advice instantly and feel the improvement with every lap.

Pro Drift Passenger Ride
Experience two high-speed laps in a professional drift car. Feel the commitment, precision, and flow of true competition-level drifting.

NDA Licence Card
Your personalised National Drift Academy Licence will be updated to Stage 2, marking your official progression and unlocking eligibility for Stage 3 training.

Session Media
All photos and videos captured during your lesson are uploaded to a private Google Drive folder for you to keep and share.

Event Access
Enjoy the full-day atmosphere - watch other sessions, learn from more advanced drivers, and be part of the NDA paddock. You +1 are included free; extra spectators can enter the BDD event for £10 each.

Your session starts with a detailed briefing covering layout, technique, and safety to ensure a structured and confident day on track.

Step 1 – Refine Drift Consistency
You’ll build on the fundamentals from Stage 1, sharpening throttle balance and steering precision to hold steady angle and speed. This creates the smooth, controlled foundation needed for linking drifts.

Step 2 – Learn Transitions
Move beyond single corner drifting and master switching direction mid drift. You’ll learn to time your steering and throttle perfectly to carry flow from left to right through a figure eight layout.

Step 3 – Develop Line & Angle Control
Discover how to place the car exactly where you want it. You’ll practice hitting clipping points and managing angle through wider arcs, improving precision and style.

Step 4 – Build Speed & Commitment
As confidence grows, you’ll add pace and commitment to each entry. Learn how to control momentum while keeping stability and rhythm through the layout.

Step 5 – Link a Full Figure-Eight Course
Bring it all together. You’ll combine transitions, clipping points, and throttle control to complete a full linked figure-eight drift with consistency and flow, the key step toward competition-style driving.

Your Progression Path

Stage 2 gives you the rhythm, precision, and confidence to drift like a developing competitor. From here, Stage 3 takes everything you’ve learned and applies it to a full drift course introducing more advanced line driving, different entry styles, and advanced control over speed and angle.

If your goal is competition drifting or simply mastering complete layouts, Stage 3 is your next step. It’s where the techniques you’ve built start to feel seamless and professional.

On the Day

Your drift day is more than just driving - it’s part of the National Drift Academy community, paddock and the full drifting experience.

Arrival & Welcome
You’ll check in, meet your instructors, and get introduced to your driving group. The atmosphere is relaxed but charged with excitement as engines fire up and the smell of tire smoke fills the air.

The Paddock Atmosphere
Between runs you’ll hang out trackside, chat with instructors and other drivers, and watch cars slide through corners at full angle.

Ride-Alongs & Spectating
When you’re not behind the wheel, you’ll strap in beside a professional for full-speed demo laps or chill with refreshments while soaking up the sound and smoke from the sidelines.

Plenty of Seat Time
Your session includes two driving stints, giving you time to reset and apply feedback after your first run. Every lap builds confidence, control, and the buzz that keeps drivers hooked.

Part of the BDD Open Drift Day
Stage 1 lessons run alongside the Bishopscourt Diff & Drift Open Day, (Only Sunday Bookings) meaning you’ll be surrounded by live grassroots and pro-level drifting all day long. It’s the perfect backdrop to watch and learn.
