Stage 3 is where drifting becomes real competition driving. This session takes place on a full track-style drift layout with long straights, fast entries, and multiple transitions - exactly like you’d find in qualifying runs.

You’ll take the wheel of a custom-built drift BMW and push your technique to the edge. Learn to manipulate transitions for different styles, use left-foot braking to stabilise angle, and manage speed without relying on brakes. It’s about flow, precision, and consistency - reading the layout, adjusting your line, and driving to real-world competition criteria.

With your instructor beside you, you’ll refine every detail - from throttle modulation and hydro use to adjusting drift angle mid-corner. The focus is on pace, line accuracy, and rhythm under pressure.

Everything you need to drive like a competitor. The Stage 3 Drift Experience puts you on a true drift circuit with advanced coaching, full immersion, and professional-level adrenaline from start to finish.

1 Lesson (Stage 3)

Drive a complete drift layout with multiple transitions, fast entries, and technical corners. You’ll apply advanced techniques to control speed, line, and style while maintaining commitment and precision.

Competition Drift Track

You will get to drift on a real wold competition drift layout and practice qualifying criteria you would need to meet in a competition setting. The track has speed, technical corners and more clips than you can count to challenge even the very best.

2-Hour Driving Session

Two structured driving stints within your 2-hour slot (around 30 minutes total seat time). Time between runs is used for instructor review and setup adjustments.

Instructor Demonstrations & Ride-Alongs

Ride shotgun with your coach for a full-speed demonstration of line, clipping points, and transition timing before you take over.

Instructor-Level Coaching

One-to-one training from competition drifters. Focused on pace, line control, and adaptability — how to keep the car balanced, fast, and consistent across the whole course.

Two Driving Stints

Split seat time allows for immediate feedback and progression — refining each lap to approach competition-ready standards.

Pro Drift Passenger Ride

Experience two high-speed laps in a professional drift car to feel qualifying-level entry speed, angle, and control from the passenger seat. Your +1 can also pay for a ride on the day for £10!

NDA Licence Card

Your licence is updated to Stage 3, marking you as track-ready and eligible for advanced coaching or competition development.

Session Media

All photos and videos captured during your run are uploaded to a private Google Drive folder for review and sharing.

Event Access

Spectate other sessions, study advanced drivers, and enjoy the full NDA paddock atmosphere. You + 1 are included free; extra spectators can enter the BDD event for £10 each.

Covers course layout, high-speed safety, line discipline, and communication for competition-style driving.

What You’ll Learn

Apply everything from Stage 2 to a real competition layout. Learn how to link fast transitions and maintain speed and control across the full course.

Step 2 – Line & Clipping Precision

Drive to qualifying standards - hitting the correct line, adjusting drift angle, and keeping the car in the judging zone through every corner.

Step 3 – Speed & Angle Manipulation

Learn to vary transition style, make them snappier or smoother, and manage speed using angle instead of brakes.

Step 4 – Advanced Car Control Techniques

Use left-foot braking, hydro control, and throttle modulation to fine-tune balance mid-drift. Understand how to adapt the car to different corner radiuses and surfaces.

Step 5 – Consistency & Flow

Run full qualifying laps with rhythm, accuracy, and commitment - combining all your skills to achieve professional-level smoothness and speed.

Your Progression Path

Stage 3 is the bridge to real competition. From here, you’re ready for NDA’s Competition Development Program, where you’ll learn tandem driving, qualifying criteria, and event prep - the final step before hitting the start line.

On the Day

Your drift day is more than just driving - it’s part of the National Drift Academy community, paddock and the full drifting experience.

Arrival & Welcome
You’ll check in, meet your instructors, and get introduced to your driving group. The atmosphere is relaxed but charged with excitement as engines fire up and the smell of tire smoke fills the air.

The Paddock Atmosphere
Between runs you’ll hang out trackside, chat with instructors and other drivers, and watch cars slide through corners at full angle.

Ride-Alongs & Spectating
When you’re not behind the wheel, you’ll strap in beside a professional for full-speed demo laps or chill with refreshments while soaking up the sound and smoke from the sidelines.

Plenty of Seat Time
Your session includes two driving stints, giving you time to reset and apply feedback after your first run. Every lap builds confidence, control, and the buzz that keeps drivers hooked.

Stage 1 lessons run alongside the Bishopscourt Diff & Drift Open Day, (Only Sunday Bookings) meaning you’ll be surrounded by live grassroots and pro-level drifting all day long. It’s the perfect backdrop to watch and learn.
